A recent eyewitness at a Homecoming dance reports that she saw women "drop it" as if it were "hot" numerous times in a single night. There have also been several counts of "getting low" and whispers of even "leaning back."

Last night was South's homecoming dance. I didn't think I was going to go until 8:15 that night, when I got off work. I sported my $4 eighties dress and my grandmother's huge fur coat. I looked completely ridiculous... in a bad-ass kinda way.
The dance itself was not too bad, I guess. But if I wasn't having so much fun dancing with my friends, I would have been forced to focus on the shittiness that was attacking from every speaker. For example, one time I got all excited because I heard the intro to a Queen song, but then I realized that it was just another ripoff, and I was severely let down. But I have decided that I can't just say I dislike rap, because that's too general. I like Beastie Boys and Jurassic 5, and stuff like that... Pretty much rap with a purpose (ie protest) or stuff that's funny... That's the only kind I like. It's the bitches and ho's shit I can't stand.
