This is Halloween

Happy Halloween, everyone...
I don't know if any of you have ever been to the mall on Halloween, but there are about 70 thousand kids there running free on sugar-highs, getting candy from every single store and food court restaurant. It was like I was trapped in some child molester's fantasty.
After work I went to Ashland again with hopes of not being stuck at the house giving candy to small children. I must say that I was disappointed at how few people understood my kickass costume: Emo kid.
It was delightful. I wore a white t-shirt I made on Friday afternoon, on which I drew a scarf and a messenger bag with various drawn-on patches such as "Hot Topic is for Sellouts," "Myspace Rules," and "Ohio is for Lovers." I also included some sweet drawings of buttons that read "My Soul is Black," "Senses Fail," and "I Hate Bush." I rocked the lenseless glasses on Friday night at a party, plus I put wax in my hair and pulled it in front of my face in a very angsty manner, carried a coffee thermos, and an empty pack of cigarettes. I'll post some pictures when I can... I really ought to set up a Flickr account. I'll get on that asap.
