Finding Christmas presents is so hard!
This will the second year that I have a separate X-mas with my close girl friends, and getting presents for them is incredibly daunting... Especially now that I've upped the standard by creating a completely badass first present for one of my friends (Details after she has received it).

I saw The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe! It was phenomenal!
I read these books when I was in like 3rd grade, and the movie captured everything I ever could have imagined- Every thing was just as I pictured it as I read the books. I thought it was excellent.
You go C.S. Lewis! You draw those parallels! Go biblical allusions!
A few of my friends said it was like a cross between Passion of the Christ and Lord of the Rings... but it really was kid-friendly. Trailing off...

So long and good night.

Roll On

I don't know what the hell is going on with my computer, but this "create post" page just took like 5 minutes to load.
So I've been pretty bogged down lately... I never really stop going. I figured out that I have an average of about 5 hours a day free, but those hours are generally when all my friends are at school or work or asleep. Lametarded, huh?
I did, however, have the opportunity to spend a few hours with some of my guyfriends this evening. We sat around in my friend's basement, drank Turkish coffee, and discussed some philosophical and social questions. It was really great, and I think we're making it a Tuesdaily thing. Should be nice.
All in all, things really haven't been going as planned lately, but I'm going with it and nothing awful has happened yet. I guess I'll just roll on with my head held high...

Songs that make your ears bleed

Here's a list of songs (thanks, vh1 for getting them stuck in my head) that make me want to blow my brains out:
"Photograph" by Nickelback
"My Hump" by Black Eyed Peas
"that song that goes, 'I tear my heart open, i sew myself shut'" by Papa Roach
"Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani
"Trapped In the Closet" Chapters 1 through fucking infinity by R Kelly

In other music news, I have become a devout fan of XM, which I get on digital cable. I go to sleep to the "indie/college rock" sounds of the station "XMU."

Yay for having internet again!
