Update Post 3
I wish I could say the weekend ended on that high note. But what goes up must come down, and nothing gold can stay, to drop a few cliche's in there.
Sunday morning we decided to go to breakfast with our pal Noah, with whom we were staying through the weekend. I drove, since we were in my car, even though I was kind of grounded from driving with other people in my car because of my recent run-in with the law...
Anyways, we drove into Portland toward the Hawthorn district to find somewhere to eat. Noah sat shotgun, my friend Larissa sat behind me, and my cousin Raquel sat rear passenger side.
As we entered the intersection of 2 busy roads, we looked around to see what street we were crossing. At that moment, a red Neon plowed into my driver's side door. Apparently I had ran a red light, and for that I suffered dearly. No one was hurt, but serious damage was done to both vehicles.
My pride has disintegrated, considering I have regressed back into my younger years of waiting on curbs until my mommy or daddy could come pick me up. I probably won't be able to drive for a couple of years, considering my car is totalled and this is the second accident I've been in within a few months, so my insurance will skyrocket, prompting cancellation. And the worst part is the knowledge that I almost killed one of my best friends.
Mortality's a bitch.

Yeesh, doesnt look like it very fun at all. Glad to hear you and your friends are ok. Did you have to drive all the way back like that?
Sorry to hear it Erin, I'm glad you had a good time though. I was with Kevin Salisbury driving around portland once and he ran two reds in a row. It's a bitch downtown.
Well Well Well...it looks like I found you blog...and I love it...I also happen to love the dot dot dot method, it is grammatically fun!
