I was listening to Cuts Across the Land by Duke Spirit in the car today. They are one of the few female-fronted bands I like. Comparable to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, only... good.

back from 'Tacompton'

Went up for a preview day at UPS this weekend... I went to the most amazing seminars and met some seemingly kickass teachers. I think this college could work out really nicely for me. I could sit in on some "Non-violent civil disobedience training" sessions, which I saw flyers for.
Also, I drove by ReclinerLand. And Sleater-Kinney Road. Everybody loves Warshington.

Well, I've heard back from all the schools I applied to now..
I got in to UPS, PSU and Willamette and I've been "wait-listed" by UP.
So now it's decision time.
